Cats In Edward Hopper's Window

Cats are singular characters. They pick and chose as they calculate their advantages. Cats In Edward Hopper's Window is a case in point.

Sam and Billy are happy to take their places in a Hopper-inspired window, become part of the faux realism. They don't care if Hopper was an ill-tempered son of a bitch who wasn't even liked much by his wife, Jo, who was largely responsible for his success. It was okay that people didn't like him, because he didn't like them either.

The cats don't care as long as the window seats and the view are good. They don't care if what casual viewers take to be casual realism is really a mask for cynical surrealism. Not their problem.

Cats may not know much about, but as you can see in Cats In Edward Hopper's Window, they know what they like.
